Part Time “Learn to Play” Event Volunteers

The Role

OGT is looking for friendly, enthusiastic part-time staff to support weekend gaming activities, demonstrations and events.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tabletop games, likes meeting new people and can help beginners learn in a welcoming and easy-to-understand way.

Main responsibilities:

  • Teach new players how to play selected trading card and tabletop games
  • Run short demonstrations and beginner-friendly gaming sessions
  • Welcome players and help create a fun, inclusive atmosphere
  • Assist with event registration, player seating and general event organization
  • Help prepare and pack away game materials, tables and promotional displays
  • Answer basic questions about games and products
  • Report attendance, player feedback and any issues to the event coordinator
  • Represent OGT professionally at stores, conventions and community events

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with customers
  • Can explain game rules clearly and patiently
  • Is reliable, punctual and well organized
  • Enjoys working with children, families, beginners and experienced players
  • Can work independently and as part of an event team
  • Is available mainly on Saturdays, Sundays and some public holidays
  • Can travel to different gaming stores or event locations when required
  • Has conversational English and Thai communication skills
  • Has experience with trading card games or tabletop games—helpful, but training can be provided

Good knowledge of at least 2 of the following TCGs is required Magic: The Gathering, Star Wars: Unlimited, Riftbound, CookieRun: Braverse or VTES .

Position details:

  • Part-time, event-based position
  • Primarily weekend work
  • Locations: Bangkok and surrounding areas
  • Working hours will vary depending on the event
  • Payment: Daily Rate + One Meal
  • Training and game materials will be provided
